About Paula
Paula Kurtz-Kreshel has the compassion that makes her a truly caring advocate for injured workers. Her unique history as an investigative journalist for her first career gives her the tools to be exceptionally good at finding answers and giving people a voice in a process that is intimidating, and often times, stacked against them.
A desire to make substantive positive change in people’s lives drew Paula out of journalism and into Workers Compensation. Paula attended The University of Washington and Seattle University Schools of Law. She spent time as a summer law clerk with the Attorney General’s Office and interned with Chief Administrative Law Judge Lorraine Lee at the Office of Administrative Hearings. Paula is the former co-owner of a family law practice which gives her insight into the toll employment injuries can take on the whole family. Her true passion lies in workers’ compensation where she feels proud of the work she is doing on behalf of injured people.
In Paula’s free time she and her husband stay busy with their children, outdoor recreation, their chihuahua Nela, and eventually their season tickets for the Seattle Kraken.
