Patrick A Palace

Patrick A. Palace is the owner of Palace Law, a firm of workers' compensation and personal injury attorneys.

Patrick was the President of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) 2013-2014.  He is currently serving on the National Council for Bar Presidents (NCBP) Executive Council.  The NCBP’s charge is to inform, collaborate and educate bar leaders across the country.  He is the co-chair of the 21st Century Lawyer NCBP committee which produces monthly national webinars for bar leaders. He chaired the WSBA Future of the Profession Committee 2013-2015.  Additionally, he served on the WSBA Board of Governors from 2008 – 2011, the Washington Association of Justice Board of Governors for 9 years and was WSBA Treasurer 2010-2011.   

In 2016, Palace Law was recognized by the Law 500 as one of the top 100 firms nationwide for its growth and innovation.

Patrick has been an invited presenter at the Clio Cloud Conference, AVVOs Lawyernomics, the ABA TechShow, NCBP Annual and Midyear Conventions, and regularly presents at webinars and seminars at the local, state and national levels.

He was chosen in 2013 - 2017 by the “National Trial Lawyers” as one of the Nation’s Top 100 trial lawyers and also chosen in 2013 by “Seattle Met Magazine” as one of the “Top Attorneys in Washington”. In 2012, he was the first to be awarded the Outstanding Service Award from the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association. He was also chosen in Washington Law and Politics as a "Super Lawyer" for over ten years, through the present.

He has been interviewed on podcasts by Bob Ambrogi, and appeared on other programs such as The Paralegal Voice, Legal Talk Network’s “On the Road”, Jeena Cho’s “The Resilient Lawyer”, and “Two Men and a Mic” podcast.

Patrick has produced and moderated two television programs (33 episodes): “The Peoples Law School" and "LawTalk".  These programs provide consumers with information about our legal system, and citizens’ rights and remedies under the law.

Patrick is frequently heard on the radio on KISW 99.9 and is well known among listeners for straight talk and no nonsense advice for the working man and woman of the Northwest.

Most recently, Patrick opened a winery, Sunken Cellars, whose 2016 vintage includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Albariño and an Italian red blend.

Patrick is a dedicated practitioner of yoga. He has a daily meditation practice, writes about meditation and is an Advisory Board member of the Mindfulness in Law Society.  Patrick is also a proud father who has a tendency to listen to his music (while drinking wine, and sometimes practicing yoga) louder than his non-rocker children would like.
