A joint project between the Washington State Trial Lawyers
Association, Pierce College & ComCast

In March 2004, we began producing our third season of programs aimed to place the keys to the courthouse in the hands of those who most need access. In an effort to get important information directly into the hands of consumers, this third series of programs was taped in a classroom setting and taught by guest speakers who are experts in each of the topics.

As a result, we have created 11 new programs taught by judges from the Supreme Court on down, public officials such as the Insurance Commissioner and the Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, as well as presentations by some of the top trial lawyers in the state. Each 30 minute show provides and outline of an area of law, informs consumers as to their rights and remedies, and provides the kind of information that you need in order to understand that area of law and/or a specific part of the legal system.

Some of these shows can be viewed on this website. All of the shows can be viewed on television in Pierce County on Channel 76. Consult the Pierce College Class Directory for airtimes.

Thank you as always to our partners in this program: The Washington State Trial Lawyers, ComCast, and Pierce College. We appreciate your interest and encourage you to contact us by email if you have comments or suggestions.

Respectfully yours,
Patrick A. Palace
